Honey Roasted Granola Bars

Mix dry ingredients together.

Mix molasses, pomegranate syrup, honey, dark brown sugar, coconut cream, nutiva red palm oil, and water in saucepan and heat.

Combine.

Bake in a glass dish!

The very cool thing about this recipe is it’s made of stuff we had around, and if you have other stuff in your pantry, you can make your own substitutions. The idea is to take what you have and turn it into something delicious!

Honey Roasted Granola Bars

Serves: 1 tray
Ingredients
  • DRY INGREDIENTS
  • ⅓ + cup assorted chopped nuts
  • 2 cup steel cut oats
  • 1 cup oat meal
  • ¼ cup black sesame seeds
  • ¼ cup white sesame seeds
  • 1 tsp bee pollen
  • ½ + tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg
  • ¼ tsp allspice
  • ¼ cup cut dried cranberries
  • . . .
  • WET INGREDIENTS
  • a few pours of molasses
  • a few pours of pomegranate syrup
  • 3 TB honey
  • ¼ cup dark brown sugar
  • ¼ cup coconut cream
  • ¼ cup red palm oil
  • ¼ cup water
Instructions
  1. Melt coconut cream, red palm oil, sugar and honey together with water in a small saucepan. Add into dry ingredients and stir. Put into greased glass baking dish and pat with spatula till firm. Bake on 350 for ten minutes, or until golden brown.
